MANILA, Philippines–In this time of extreme heat and equally extreme lack of water and electricity, there is a call to pause and get out from one’s rut and on to a retreat.

To respond to the call of the time, Brahma Kumaris, a non-sectarian, non-profit, non-stock organization, will conduct a Peace of Mind retreat on Holy Thursday, April 18 in four of its centers in Makati, Quezon City, Manila and Tagaytay City.

The retreat will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in its meditation centers in Bagtikan Street, Makati City and in Gener St., in Quezon City.

In its Manila center in Maria Orosa St. in Ermita, the retreat will be held from 9-11 a.m.

In Tagaytay City, the retreat will be conducted for two days from 4 p.m. April 18 (Thursday) to 3 p.m. April 20 (Saturday).

More than just a break from stress and complications, true peace of mind comes from understanding yourself and your place in the world.
