An 18-year-old teen in Miami, Florida, USA, was arrested for attempting to assault his school principal with a wrestling finishing move.

The teen, Gianny Sosa, tried the finishing wrestling move RKO at Southridge High School principal Humberto Miret, The Miami Herald reported on Thursday. The report said Miret was not hurt when the incident happened.

The RKO is a signature wrestling move by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Superstar Randy Orton, wherein the opponent’s head is grabbed with a backward flying lunge move, and later slammed to the ground.

The report said that during Sosa’s first court appearance, his defense attorney, Roy Ugarte, said that the particular case was “hands down one of the most insane.”

“Everyone knows wrestling is fake,” the attorney said as he explained the difference between Greco-Roman wrestling, a form of amateur wrestling, and professional wrestling being practiced in the WWE.

Ugarte added that Sosa was only joking around when he tried the finishing move to the school principal. “It shouldn’t have been arrestable,” he said about the teen’s actions.

Sosa was charged with battery for the incident. He was later released from jail without having to post bond.  Katrina Hallare /ra
