Globe apologizes to customers for 7-hour service interruption

MANILA, Philippines — Globe Telecom has apologized to its customers over a temporary internet and data service interruption which happened from 1:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Friday.

In an advisory issued on its Facebook page, the telecommunication (telco) company said the service interruption was caused by a server issue.

Globe said all affected subscribers who are users of Globe Postpaid, Globe Prepaid, TM, Globe At Home LTE and Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi “can now enjoy data/internet services again.”

Globe customers were also requested to switch their mobile devices or modems off and on to reboot their respective numbers from the telco’s system.  /muf
