Comelec exec hits photo of dog with campaign sticker on body
MANILA, Philippines — A Commission on Elections (Comelec) executive on Monday decried a viral photo that shows a dog with an election campaign sticker on its body.
In a tweet, Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez slammed the act and urged politicians to spare animals from politicking.
“Seriously. Isn’t it enough that politicking has already trashed the country you claim to love, you’ve got to harass dogs too?” Jimenez wrote.
