Among the establishments now allowed to operate, the Fairways and Blue Water Resort and the Savoy Hotel Boracay in Barangay Yapak had the highest number of rooms with 700 and 559, respectively.

Before establishments can operate in Boracay, they must secure permits and clearances from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

Boracay reopened on Oct. 26, 2018 after a six-month closure for rehabilitation. /ee
