2 teens kill selves in North Cotabato town
KIDAPAWAN CITY — Two teenage students of the University of Southern Mindanao laboratory school in Kabacan, North Cotabato reportedly killed themselves inside the teen’s house around 9:30 a.m. Monday.
Police Major Realan Mamon, Kabacan police chief, said on Tuesday the victims, whose names were withheld because they were minors, were in Grade 10 and Grade 7, respectively.
Mamon said the family of the 17-year old boy heard a loud burst inside their house and upon checking, found their son and his girlfriend lying in a pool of blood.
Mamon said a suicide note near the victims’ bodies read: “My father cared only for my grades.” Orlando B. Dinoy, Inquirer Mindanao/lzb
