MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) is ready to investigate how the sex video of Jim Paredes was circulated in social media if the singer would seek help from authorities.
Bernard Banac said in a press conference at Camp Crame on Tuesday.
Banac said they have yet to receive a formal complaint from Paredes.
Paredes, who initially said the video was fake, later admitted in a blog post on Monday that it was him in the viral sex video. The singer said he did not know how the video circulated, as he also said “it was private” and “not meant for public consumption.”

Meanwhile, Banac reminded the public to avoid sharing sex videos.
/muf
