Sato, Tee win in Alta Vista golf

JUFIL SATO and Jimmy Tee were the big winners in last weekend’s Christmas Fun Golf Classic 2011 at the Alta Vista Golf and Country Club.

Sato was named as the overall gross champion with his 70 strokes while Tee’s 59 strokes made him the overall net champion .

In the class A, Alex Yeo clinched the title after grossing 72 points for a net score of 65 points.

Richard Lim collared the first runner-up honors with his gross score of 77 points, which netted him 66 points while Jun Dayot’s net score of 67 points made him salvage second runner-up honors.

FEATURED STORIES

Prudgie Gesta reigned supreme in class B while Billy Canedo and Richard Tan flanked him as the first and second runners up, respectively.

Class C was dominated by Mat Jo after he grossed 94 for a net score of 67.

In the seniors division, Loloy Sabuga was named the gross champion with his 73 points while the net champion honors went to Pampio Abarintos after he netted 65 with his gross score of 85 points.

In the Super Seniors (70 and above) division, named gross champion was Rod Senido with his 88 points while named net champion was Romy Hipolito with his 64 points.

In the ladies division, Choi Yi Hwa went home with the gross champion title with her 80 points while Yang Hee Ja clinched the net champion title with her net score of 70 points.

Wei Wei Gao dominated the dependents division with his net score of 70 points after grossing 73 points.

The guest division had Freddie Salimbangon as gross champion with his 72 points. Net champion title went to Eri Juin who netted 58 points after grossing 76 points./CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
