2 Indian nationals killed in Zamboanga road mishap

ZAMBOANGA CITY — Two Indian nationals died in a vehicular accident on Thursday along the highway in Buenavista village, 54 kilometers east coast of this city.

Police Captain Shellamae Chang, spokesperson of the Zamboanga City Police, identified the fatalities as Amardeep Singh, 33; and his younger brother Minindal, 22.

Chang said the Singh brothers were driving a red motorbike when it rammed an Isuzu truck driven by Raymond Dagalea Papas around 5:35 p.m.

“The two Indian nationals sustained severe injuries that caused their instant death,” Chang said.

The two vehicles were impounded and Papas was detained at the Police Station 2. /ee
