2 revolvers seized from Chinese national in Makati

MANILA, Philippines – A Chinese man was arrested on Wednesday after a security guard reported him to police for holding a gun inside his condominium unit at Grand Soho Makati on H.V. Dela Costa Street in Salcedo Village, Makati.

According to the police, Sun Xiaofan called for an electrician to fix the electrical circuit of his room at about 11:30 a.m.


The electrician, a member of the building maintenance staff, asked for a security guard to accompany him inside.

According to police, the electrician and the guard saw the suspect playing with a handgun.


The guard reported the incident to police, which led to the arrest of the suspect.

Police seized from the suspect two .38-caliber revolvers without ammunition and took him to the Makati City Police Community Precinct 6.

The suspect will face a case for violating the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act. /atm
