Pangasinan teen dead, mother hurt in gun attack

DAGUPAN CITY — A 15-year-old student was killed while his mother was wounded when an unidentified gunmen shot them while they were sleeping inside their house in Umingan, Pangasinan on Monday, police said.

Angelo Molina, a Grade 10 student, did not make it alive to the Umingan Community Hospital, where he and his mother, Emily Molina, 49, were taken.

Angelo suffered three bullet wounds on different parts of his body while his mother was hit on her left finger when the assailants shot them through their door at 4:40 a.m. in Barangay Buenavista.

Investigators found two empty shells fired from a .45-caliber pistol at the crime scene.
