Sunday to be cloudy, Pagasa says
MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon will affect the northern Luzon while the trough of a tropical depression will affect the Caraga and Davao Regions, the weather bureau said Sunday.
The Caraga and Davao regions will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) warned the residents in affected areas to prepare for possible flash floods during severe thunderstorms.
Pagasa said the tropical depression was last spotted at 1,175 km East of Mindanao still outside the country’s area of responsibility.
It had maximum sustained winds of 45 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness up to 60 kph. It was moving west at a speed of 10 kph.

Pagasa did not expect any significant effect of amihan.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms. /cbb
