Weekend roadworks set in parts of QC, Pasig, Taguig, Makati

MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Public Works and Highways is scheduled to conduct road repairs in parts of Quezon City, Pasig City, Taguig City and Makati City from Friday night to Monday morning,  the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA)  announced Friday.

In a traffic advisory, the MMDA said the following roads would be affected from 11 p.m. on Friday, March 8 until 5 a.m. on Monday, March 11.

Southbound:

C-5 Road after Lanuza Avenue before Bagong Ilog flyover

C-5 Road (southbound and northbound) in front of SM Aura

Esda Ermin Garcia – New York (2nd lane from the sidewalk)

Northbound:

Edsa from Magallanes MRT to Km. 29 (outer lane)

Fairview Avenue – Atherton to Regalado Avenue North (2nd lane from the sidewalk)

The MMDA advised motorists to avoid the affected areas and use alternate routes instead. / gsg
