Armored van turns over in Isabela, driver killed

ALICIA, ISABELA, Philippines –A driver died after the armored van he was driving turned over along the national highway in Barangay Del Pilar here on Tuesday, police said.

Police said George Managuelod, 39, of Barangay Calaccab, Angadanan town was pinned inside the overturned van.

Meanwhile, the three guards who were also inside the armored van sustained bruises.

Alejandro Alindayu, one of the guards, said they were on their way to a bank when their van overturned after avoiding an overtaking sports utility vehicle. /muf
