MANILA, Philippines – The amihan or northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies over Luzon and the Visayas, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sunday.
Gener Quitlong, Pagasa weather specialist said residents in Luzon and Visayas would continue to experience cold weather in the morning due to amihan.
Mindanao, meanwhile, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy conditions accompanied by isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
Quitlong said remains of former storm “Betty” (international name ‘Wutip’) had weakened considerably and might fully dissolve within the next 24 hours. /cbb
