MANILA, Philippines — Senatorial aspirant and Maguindanao Rep. Dong Mangudadatu’s image was not included in Hugpong ng Pagbabago’s (HNP) LED digital poster during the party’s campaign sortie in Quezon City on Thursday.

HNP, the regional party of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, is endorsing 13 senatorial candidates for the May polls. However, Mangudadatu’s image was not in the digital display.

Duterte-Carpio, the party’s chair, was quick to own up to the mistake and apologized to Mangudadatu.

“I would like to apologize to our candidate Dong Mangudadatu. Kasalanan namin ‘yan so I’ll ask the HNP Secretariat to explain that,” the presidential daughter told reporters after the party’s event at the jampacked Amoranto Sports Complex.

HNP is endorsing the candidacy of Mangudadatu, Senators JV Ejercito, Cynthia Villar, Koko Pimentel and Sonny Angara; former senators Jinggoy Estrada, Bong Revilla and Pia Cayetano; Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos, former police chief Ronald “Bato” de la Rosa, former Presidential aide Bong Go, former Presidential legal adviser Francis Tolentino and journalist Jiggy Manicad. /ee
