Camarines Sur town councilor nabbed in anti-drugs operation

NAGA CITY — A municipal councilor in Lagonoy town in Camarines Sur province was arrested Wednesday night after police seized several sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) from him, police said Thursday.

The Camarines Sur police report said police armed with a search warrant arrested Randy Texon, 49, around 8 p.m. in Barangay (village) San Isidro Norte.

Seized from Texon were 19 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, police said.
