DID YOU KNOW: 11,427 HIV cases noted in 2018 in PH

In 2018, there were 11,427 new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cases recorded nationwide, according to the Department of Health.

In December alone, there were 877 new HIV cases recorded, while for the whole year, there were 596 reported deaths. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
