PILI, Camarines Sur — Ilocos Norte Governor and senatorial aspirant Imee Marcos said Thursday during her visit here that she would rather attend campaign rallies than to engage in senatorial debates.

This was Marcos’ response when asked if she was ready for the debate challenge with the opposition senatorial bets.

“There is no problem if there would be a debate, no problem with that but there are some like us who are too busy making the rounds that we couldn’t even go back to Manila,” she said.

She said she believed it was better to go around meeting voters since the debates are also too long. Stephanie Florida/lzb
