Fair weather in Luzon, Visayas on Thursday – Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — The weather bureau is tracking a tropical cyclone outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR).
Severe Tropical Storm Wutip (international name) was last spotted 2,775 kilometers east of Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Thursday.
The storm was moving northwest and is too far to affect the country. It is not likely to enter PAR.
The northeasterly surface wind flow, meanwhile, continues to affect Luzon and Visayas.
The Bicol Region, the Visayas, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have fair weather with isolated light rain.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will also have fair weather, while Mindanao will have cloudy skies due to localized thunderstorms. /cbb
