MANILA, Philippines — National Artist for Architecture Francisco “Bobby” Mañosa, who died at the age of 88, will be laid to rest in a state funeral at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig on Sunday, Feb. 24.
The Mañosa Group of Companies announced this and details of the architect’s wake in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
The wake will be at the Heritage Memorial Park Chapels 2, 3 and 4 starting at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21.
The wake will continue from Feb. 22 to 23 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
A daily Holy Mass will also be held at 7 p.m.
Mañosa’s notable works were the Coconut Palace, the EDSA Shrine, the Davao Pearl Farm, and Amanpulo Island Resort. /atm
