MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck Bohol on Wednesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
In its initial bulletin, Phivolcs reported that the temblor hit 5 kilometers (km) southeast of Catigbian, Bohol, at 4:19 a.m.
The quake of tectonic origin had a depth of 11 km.
Phivolcs said no aftershocks or damage could be expected from the earthquake. /cbb
