SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — As the campaign period for the May elections officially started, presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte’s Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) launched on Tuesday a campaign caravan here for its 13 senatorial candidates.

Hundreds of supporters flocked the Capitol Compound in Barangay Sto. Niño to witness the launch.

HNP endorses the following senatorial candidates for the upcoming elections: Senators Cynthia Villar, Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III, JV Ejercito, and Sonny Angara; and former Senators Jinggoy Estrada, and Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr.

The political party is also campaigning for former Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go, former Philippine National Police chief Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, Taguig City 2nd District Rep. Pia Cayetano, Maguindanao 2nd District Rep. Zajid “Dong” Mangudadatu, Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos, former presidential political adviser Francis Tolentino and journalist Jiggy Manicad. /cbb
