Shabu worth P300k seized in Legazpi City buy-bust
LEGAZPI CITY — Anti-narcotics operatives arrested on Thursday night a suspected big-time drug pusher and seized from him P300,000 worth of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) in a drug operation in this city, a report from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said on Friday.
Diogenes Callo was caught selling shabu to an undercover PDEA agent during a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) Oro Site at 8:40 p.m., said Christian Frivaldo, PDEA acting regional director.
Callo, a high-value target (HVT), yielded some 50 grams of shabu worth P300,000.
However, Callo’s two companions identified as Christian Bobilles, a provincial HVT, and Arjay Hayagan escaped during the drug operation. Mar S. Arguelles/lzb
