DPWH to conduct road reblocking, repairs Feb. 8 – 11
MANILA, Philippines — Several major roads in Metro Manila will undergo repairs this weekend, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said on Friday.
According to the DPWH, reblocking and repairs from Feb. 8 (Friday) at 11 a.m. to Feb. 11 (Monday) at 5 a.m. will be on the following roads:
Southbound:
1.) C-5 Road after Lanuza Ave. before Bagong Ilog flyover
2.) C-5 Road fronting SM Aura
3.) EDSA New York St., Monte de Piedad
Northbound:
1.) Fairview Ave. Atherton to Regalado Ave. North (1st lane from center island)
2.) EDSA fronting Philippine College of Surgeons and fronting Quezon City Academy (1st lane from sidewalk)
3.) R. Magsaysay Blvd. (going to Quiapo) R. Magsaysay Bridge – Pureza St.
4.) EDSA Light Mall (1st lane), Jollibee Service Road Megamall (2nd lane)
The DPWH added that Maynilad will also have restoration works along Commonwealth Avenue. corner Riverside St., Brgy. Batasan Hills, Quezon City this weekend.
Motorists are advised by the DPWH to avoid affected roads and take alternate routes instead. /muf
