MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has warned driver’s license applicants against an online scammer offering assistance.

In a warning issued on Thursday, the agency said a certain Hauddin Ryan, who is “offering assistance for drivers’ license application” is not connected with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in any way.

The DOTr reminded the public to just visit LTO offices for any transactions as the LTO  “does not transact business via any online persona.”
