Bomb threat hits justice hall in Taguig City
MANILA, Philippines — After recent bombings in Jolo, Sulu, and Zamboanga, a bomb threat hit the Taguig City Hall of Justice in General Santos Avenue, Barangay Central Bicutan on Monday, police said.
The Taguig City Police said that an employee of the justice hall reported to the police that she received a text message claiming the building would be “blown up.”
“Saalam Alaikum. Be ready to meet [yo]ur maker. [Yo]ur hall of justice will be blown up. Death to all oppressors. Death to all corrupt judges. Jihad is upon us. Allah is the greatest,” the text message read, according to police.
Police responded to the justice hall and found no explosive upon inspection of the place.
Senior Supt. Alexander Santos, commander of the Taguig City Police Station, told INQUIRER.net that investigators already know the location where the text message was sent.
He said an operation will be launched to track the person behind the bomb threat. /je
