3 slain in Bulacan anti-criminality operation

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, BULACAN — Three people were killed in an anti-criminality operation in the province this week, police said on Thursday.

Senior Supt. Chito Bersaluna, Bulacan police director, said an unidentified motorcycle thief was killed after he fired at policemen at Barangay Maguinao in San Rafael town about 2:45 a.m. on Thursday.

Also killed during separate buy-bust operations in City of Malolos and City of San Jose Del Monte were Marlon Dalubatan and Mark Anthony Tesoro alias Mac-mac.

Police said the two drug suspects engaged lawmen in a gunfight after resisting arrest.

At least 39 others were also arrested during anti-illegal drugs operations and implementation of warrants of arrest in Bulakan town. Carmela Reyes-Estrope/lzb
