Based on the latest data from the Department of Health, Metro Manila posted the highest number of new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cases in November 2018 among all regions.
Of the 945 new HIV cases reported nationwide during that month, 29 percent or 272 were from the National Capital Region, followed by Calabarzon with 14 percent or 131 cases.
