/ 06:48 AM December 09, 2011

COMPLAINTS for grave threats and illegal possession of firearm were filed against the security guard who allegedly cocked his AK-47 during an encounter with two traffic enforcers after the armored van he was guarding had a vehicular accident in barangay Tisa, Cebu City.

Jason Alkuino of Dasia Security Agency could also be suspended from work if it will be proven that he violated the ethical standard for security guards, said Supt. Rex Derilo, chief of the Firearms Explosives Security Agencies and Guards Supervisory Sections (Fesagss).

Representatives from the Dasia Security Agency went to the station yesterday and presented the gun license for the AK-47.

But Derilo said the guard was still charged for illegal possession of firearm since the gun license was not with him when he was arrested

FEATURED STORIES

Traffic enforcers Dennis Rabago and Christopher Pardillo accused Alkuino of cocking an AK-47 after they stopped him and his fellow security guards from leaving while they were investigating a road accident where an armored car escorted by the security guard hit a private car.

Alkuino explained that he and fellow guards wanted to leave immediately to secure the money that a bank teller was about to deliver to clients.

At the jail, the guard was profusely apologizing to the traffic enforcers for his action.

The complaints were filed before the Cebu City Prosecutors’ Office. CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
