PMA now closed to tourists on weekdays

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) in Baguio City will now be closed to tourists during weekdays.

Lt. Col. Harry Baliaga Jr., PMA public information officer, said the military school will only be open to visitors during weekends.

This new schedule, he added, started on January 23

“Yung influx ng tourists during weekdays affect the training of the cadets. Kaya nag-decide ang Command na ipasara ang PMA sa tourists,” he told INQUIRER.net on Friday.

Baliaga, however, said PMA is conceptualizing possible educational tours for visitors of the country’s premier military school. /kga
