Motorbiker killed in Malabon mishap

MANILA, Philippines  – A 22-year-old motorcycle rider was killed in a vehicular accident in Malabon City before dawn Wednesday.

The Malabon City police said the mishap occurred at the intersection of Mc Arthur Highway and Del Monte Avenue in Barangay Potrero at 12:10 a.m.

The fatality was identified as Arshian de Belen, who was declared dead on arrival at MCU Medical Center at 12:28a.m.

Initial investigation showed that a car driven by Earl Domingo was cruising along Mc Arthur Highway heading toward Del Monte Avenue when it collided with De Belen’s speeding motorcycle.

Further investigation is ongoing. /gsg
