MARAWI CITY—An alleged member of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) was arrested inside the polling place of Benago village, Balabagan town in Lanao del Sur for bringing his firearm when he was about to vote.
Senior Supt. Madzgani Mukaram, police provincial director, told the Inquirer Ibrahim Manpod Sampiano, 62, a resident of Barangay Barorao of Balabagan town, was arrested inside the Balabagan Central Elementary School polling center around 10 a.m. on Monday for violating the Comelec gun ban.
