Magnitude 5.2 earthquake jolts Cagayan
MANILA, Philippines – A magnitude 5.2 earthquake jolted Cagayan province Thursday night, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
In its initial earthquake bulletin, Phivolcs said the earthquake’s epicenter was traced 127 kilometers (km) south of Santa Ana, Cagayan at 8:22 p.m.

The earthquake, of tectonic origin, had a depth of 19 km.
Phivolcs said no aftershocks and damage are expected. / gsg
