MANILA, Philippines — Drug enforcement and customs agents nabbed two women who tried to smuggle illegal drugs at the Port of Clark in Angeles City on Wednesday.

In a statement, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) identified the suspects as Edna Valenzuela, also known as Belinda Azures, 44, and Judy Ann Valenzuela, 22.

PDEA said a team composed of its agents from Metro Manila and Central Luzon, along with Bureau of Customs (BOC) agents in the Port of Clark, conducted a “controlled delivery.”
