IN keeping with its tradition, Paper Savers, a paper recycling company, once again carried out a tree-planting activity dubbed as “mulTREEply” last Oct. 15.
This tree planting activity initiated by Paper Savers in 2009 gives recognition to companies supporting their paper recycling efforts.
This year, Paper Savers partnered with the Haribon Foundation.
For every 3,000 kgs. of paper disposed by the participating companies from Sept. 13, 2010 to Sept. 20, 2011, a donation of one seedling was made in the company’s name to the foundation.
Seventy-four companies contributed a total of 207 seedlings planted in Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
