Robredo’s high trust rating inspires team ‘to serve better’
JARO, Iloilo — The high trust rating of Vice President Leni Robredo in a recent survey has inspired the Office of the Vice President (OVP) to serve the people better, her spokesperson said.
Spokesperson Barry Gutierrez said in a statement on Friday that the OVP will continue to give voice to the marginalized sector, inspired by the 62 percent approval and 56 percent trust rating recorded by the latest Pulse Asia survey.
“Muli itong magsisilbing inspirasyon na lalong pagbutihin ang paglilingkod at pagbibigay boses sa ating mga kapwa Pilipino, lalo na doon sa mga nasa laylayan ng lipunan,” Gutierrez noted.
(This serves as an inspiration for us to improve our services and to continue giving voice to our fellow Filipinos, especially those who are in the margins of society.)
The Pulse Asia survey conducted from December 14 to 21 showed that Robredo placed second among top national officials. President Rodrigo Duterte took the top spot with an 81 percent approval and 76 trust rating.
Aside from Duterte and Robredo, the ratings of Senate President Vicente Sotto III and House Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo were also measured.
