Fire hits Mandaluyong residential area
MANILA, Philippines — A fire struck a residential area in Mandaluyong City on Thursday morning, the city fire department reported.
According to Fire Officer I Michelle Garcia, the blaze started at 8:12 a.m. in Welfareville Compound Barangay Addition Hill in Mandaluyong City.
Fifteen minutes later, the fire reached the second alarm.
The fire was declared under control at 9:00 a.m. then it was put out ten minutes later.
As of posting, the incident is still under investigation. /je
