MANILA, Philippines – An election campaign giveaway supposedly from a city councilor caught the attention of Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon on Thursday.

“We should have a rule on what materials are prohibited. Those that are obscene or show women as sex objects,” Guanzon said in a Twitter reply to a tweet by the National Citizens’ Movement for Free Elections (Namfrel) regarding the unusual campaign freebie.

“What’s the name of candidate? What city?” she then asked.
