MRT-3 will have normal operating hours on Jan. 9
MANILA, Philippines — The management of the Metro Rail Transit line 3 (MRT-3) announced on Tuesday that it would maintain normal operating hours on the day of Traslacion 2019 on Wednesday.
The management said that the it would not adjust its operating hours to cater to the devotees of the Black Nazarene.
The first trip of both the northbound and southbound trains of the MRT-3 leaves the station at 5:30 a.m.
The last train trip from North Avenue station is scheduled to leave at 9:10 p.m. while the final trip from Taft Avenue station is set to leave at 9:50 p.m.
The management also said that it would allow barefoot Black Nazarene devotees to ride its train during Wednesday’s feast.
The management of the Light Rail Transit Lines 1 and 2 also announced that they would have a regular schedule on January 9. /ee
