Man stabs 20 students at primary school in downtown Beijing

BEIJING — A man has stabbed and injured 20 students, leaving three heavily injured, at a primary school in Xicheng district of Beijing on Tuesday.

All the injured have been sent to the hospital. The three seriously injured students show stable signs of life and have no life-threatening conditions.

The suspect has been put under control.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
