Pagasa sees fair weather on Nazarene feast

MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather with chances of isolated light rains is expected in Metro Manila on Wednesday, the Feast of Black Nazarene, the state weather bureau said.

Weather specialist Meno Mendoza said on Monday that there are no likely weather disturbances inside the Philippine area of responsibility in the next three days.

The northeast monsoon or “hangin-amihan” continues to be the dominant weather system in Luzon.

Based on the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s special weather outlook for the religious festival, fair weather is expected in the next four days with the possibility of isolated light rains.

Temperature is expected to be between 22 and 31 degrees Celsius.
