MANILA, Philippines — Around 200 members of urban poor group Kadamay demonstrated outside the National Housing Authority (NHA) main office along Elliptical Road in Quezon City on Monday.
The group led its national chairperson Gloria Arellano called for the resignation of President Rodrigo Duterte due to alleged failed housing projects, and the constant red-tagging of activists as communist rebels.
Members of the Quezon City Police District secured the NHA building and maintained order during the demonstration. /cbb
