Pagasa sees cloudy skies with light rains over Luzon, Visayas on Thursday
MANILA, Philippines — Light rains and cloudy skies are expected over parts of Luzon and Visayas on Thursday due to the prevailing northeast monsoon or “Amihan,” the state weather bureau said on Wednesday.
In its latest weather update at 7 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that cloudy skies with light rains will be experienced over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya and Aurora.
Meanwhile, the rest of Luzon, including Metro Manila will experience fair weather with the possibility of light isolated rains.
The monsoon will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao and Kalinga.
Pagasa said it has not monitored any low pressure area or any weather disturbance that could enter the Philippine area of responsibility in the next two to three days. /jpv
