ORMOC CITY — A 10-year-old boy was the lone reported firecracker victim here while waiting for the New Year in Barangay Doña Feliza Mejia.

Records obtained at the Ormoc District Hospital showed that the boy was playing with piccolo when it exploded in his hand. The boy’s two fingers on the right hand were reportedly slightly injured.
