Man found dead in Camarines Sur river

PILI, Camarines Sur — A man was found dead in Burabod River in Lagonoy town in Camarines Sur province Sunday morning, police said.

The victim, believed to have drown while Tropical Depression “Usman” dumping heavy incessant rains over the Bicol region, was identified as Ricardo Mancera, 42, a resident of Barangay Salog in Goa town, also in Camarines Sur.

His body was found around 9:30 a.m.

Police said the victim probably drowned in Napawon River in Goa as water rose due to heavy downpour brought by Usman and was carried by strong water currents up to the Burabod River where he was found. /ee
