MANILA, Philippines — Several local flights have been canceled due to the inclement weather brought by a low pressure area and the tail-end of a cold front, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) announced Sunday
In an advisory, Miaa said the following flights have been canceled as of 9 a.m., Sunday:

According to the weather bureau, Tropical Depression “Usman” which was downgraded to an LPA and the tail-end of a cold front are expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain over parts of the country on Sunday.
The weather bureau added that Metro Manila, the Bicol Region, Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon), and Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) will also experience cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley Region, and Central Luzon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain caused by the northeast monsoon.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rains due to localized thunderstorms. /muf
