MANILA, Philippines — Two motorcycle-riding suspects were killed in a shootout with police in Nueva Ecija Tuesday, police said Wednesday, a day after the incident.
Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr., spokesman of the Philippine National Police, said that Munoz City police pursued four suspects on board motorcycles along Munoz-Lupao Road in Rizal village, Munoz City at around 11:30 a.m. of Tuesday.
He said that two others managed to escape.
A dragnet operation has been started for the possible arrest of the suspects.
