MANILA, Philippines — A man who appeared to throw an old man off a speeding motorcycle in Quezon City has been arrested by the police.

Suspect Banjo dela Paz was arrested after he was seen visiting a friend in Barangay Sangandaan, Quezon City, at about 10 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday morning, Dela Paz figured in a vehicular accident with a Toyota Vios along Roosevelt Avenue as he was driving a motorcycle reported stolen hours earlier. He abandoned the motorcycle then commandeered another motorbike driven by a 64-year-old man.
