Woman killed in Cagayan, another found dead in Isabela

SAN MATEO, Isabela — A woman was killed in a car accident at dawn on Thursday in Barangay Baculod in Alcala town in Cagayan province.

The Alcala police have yet to identify the woman who was described as five-feet tall with fair complexion and wearing a sweater at the time of the incident.  She died from head injuries. Her remains are at the Alcala funeral parlor.

Meanwhile, in Isabela province, an 88-year-old woman was found dead on Wednesday at an irrigation waterway in Old Centro Proper in San Mateo town, police said.

The family of Marina Delfin said she went out to sell goods and did not return home. An autopsy revealed she suffered a heart attack. /ee
